Hi Richard
My husband bought your book a few weeks ago to help his bad back and has been diligently doing your stretching exercises and getting very good results. I, myself, usually have a really bad back episode every couple of years and have to go to bed for a couple of days and rest. Generally, most of the time, I suffer some sort of stiffness or back pain, which is thankfully not debilitating - perhaps a 1 or 2/10. I decided to do the exercises with my husband, and have had remarkable results in only 3 weeks. My back already feels so much better and most of the time pain free.
However, what is more remarkable is that severe leg cramps that I have suffered from in my left leg at night for the past 4 years and that have often woken me up 2 or 3 times a night, sometimes 4 or 5 times a week have disappeared. The cramps used to pull my big toe up, run over the top of my foot and then up the outside of my leg up to the knee. A hard place to get a stretch to relieve them. A big thank you to you for your book which achieved unexpected results, while chiros, physios, acupuncture, masseurs and naturopaths had not had any success. Now I can finally get a good night's sleep. It's heavenly and I'm so thankful to you.
God Bless You.
Once again - Thank You!
May God Bless You

Hi Richard,
I thought you may be interested, I have just won a Gold & Silver medal at the Australian Masters Games for Cycling (and 2 silvers the previous week for the national titles). Not bad for someone who couldn't ride his bike for five minutes only 5 months ago because of back pain!
Thanks for your book!
Cheers,
Tony O'Connor
Dear Richard,
I like to thank you for the book that has enable me to continue having fun with my beloved sport Cycling.
I am an indestructible 54 year old, 71 kg boy. I have been a cyclist for life and suffered back problems for about 20 years. This year I began training for the Master games and found that my back was getting worse and stopped me from even doing a mild ride.
My Dr. send me for a CT scan which describe the problem as degenerative change of the lower three lumbar intervertebral discs and of the L5/S1 facet joints. Potential neural compromise at L4/5 and L5/S1.
recommending an MRI for possible intervention if contemplated.
Since this diagnosis 3 month has passed, and I have been doing your stretching religiously for about 2 1/2. I am almost totally pain free! [I feel a bit of pain in the morning waking-up]. I am riding about 250km a week and getting fit for the games (in the first week of November). I find the first and second stretches the most effective in releasing the pain. It is almost sufficient with these two only to restore the back after a strenuous exercise, but of course I do all of them.
I wish to ask if you agree with increasing the number of stretching times per day, specially the first 3 in the list of 8. In my case as I seem to need a stretch after working hard for a couple of hrs. ( I work as a maintainer of electronic equipment, work involves walking a lot and not sitting in a desk for long periods of time.)
Have you got any special suggestion for cyclists as I know quite a few follow your book
Alex Sommariva.
ACT.
Good Morning Richard
You have more than likely received an email from my PA trying to find where to get more copies of your book.
I would at this time like to thank you for what you and your book Back For Life have done for me. I am a 38 year old ex Australian Rules football player who loves to stay active. I have two children 11 and 8 who demand plenty of interaction in their sporting pursuits. I was at a point two years ago where even getting out of bed was such an effort. I am now back running again and as my son calls them, "my lumbar" problems are all but gone. Life is great and I can now look forward to snow skiing without pain killers.
My father-in-law (wise man that he is) discovered your book and he passed on the name to me. It has revitalised both our lives and we are sharing our experiences with all that complain about back pain.
We would love to give some of our friends and colleagues a copy of your book. Hopefully you have some in stock or being printed. Please let me know if you do.
Forever Grateful.

Dear Richard,
I am writing to say a BIG thank you for your terrific book, Back For Life.
I saw it on TV and bought it in May 2003.
I’ve had back pain since 20 years old when I was hit on my pushbike by a car. I’m now 45.
The pain’s been getting worse & I’ve had to take time off work here and there because of it. I’m a nurse.
BUT NOW- NO PAIN AT ALL.
I sleep all night without medication. No more sick leave and no more whinging. I can also work in the garden or cycle 30kms & recover immediately with no ill effects.
I guess I’m committed to your book for life. I don’t ever want to go back to that awful pain again.
Anyway Richard, I’m off to shovel some mulch into the wheelbarrow & top up some garden beds, but not without STRETCHING FIRST OF COURSE!
Thanks again
Carolyn Bond
Hi Richard,
I bought your book more than 2 years ago and I have been doing the stretches since that time. I must say that it has improved my back dramatically. I was a bit sceptical at first but I am now a firm believer in your techniques.
I am going to the USA this Saturday and I promised a friend of mine who lives in LA that I would give him a copy of your book. I have already purchased your Necks book for him.
Is it possible to order the Back for Life book direct from you so I could have a copy to take with me to the US?
Regards,
Rommel

Dear Richard
We have already purchased a few copies of your book "Back For Life" and continue to benefit greatly as have our grown up children.
We would like to buy 3 more copies for friends.
Thank you so much for having written this wonderful book!

Dear Richard,
Just a short email to thank you very much for your book "Back for Life" It has been a great help to me. l have realized after reading your book that l was doing the wrong hyperextension exercises for many months now. As you had stated in the back of your book, those exercises should NOT be done at all. (My physio told me to do these every day!) and now l understand that this has been making my back worse. So
God sure send me your help to getting me on to the correct stretches and exercises. Have been doing your Back For Life stretches and exercises regularly now, and it has helped me tremendously. Much appreciated for all your help. May God bless you always.
Thanking you again.
Regards
Cindy Ansell.
Hi Richard,
I bought, read and used your Back For Life book and found it very helpful, I now have a constant pain in my neck and I remembered somewhere reading that you published a book for neck pain.
Do you still have any copies of the neck book that you sell?
I’ve been to the Doctors, physio’s , Chiro’s, massage, and acupuncture , nothing helped , had x-rays all show nothing,
Can you help………………please!
Regards
Michael Bowen
Dear Richard,
I first would like to thank you for sharing your story and expertise with those of us that suffer terribly and want to regain control of our lives again. I purchased both of your e-books and am currently reading the back book. I would like to ask you about stretch no. 3 -- perhaps for some alternative to accomplish the same stretch. I have an SI joint that I injured during childbirth and if I do that type of movement and many others, it stresses that joint and I am in more agony than usual. I would sincerely appreciate any assistance you might provide.
I hope you make a DVD of both books, in the near future, I would love that.
I read your story and boy do I identify with the suffering and money spent attempting to achieve a pain free life again. If it were not so sad, it would be comical and I do laugh all the time despite chronic pain for eleven years. I have severe back, shoulder and neck pain and it is mainly tense tight muscles and as you said --- loss of symmetry. It would have been nice if one of the many people I went to over the years would even acknowledge it was muscular! They were so sweet to me but literally took my money and I had a day or so of reduced pain. The medical field -- I am convinced does not want to help us -- we are their cash flow. So sad....
I am thrilled that you are healed and were insightful enough to find your answers and share them with us and I expect to recover, absolutely. I am frightened at times that I will never do so but I never
give up hope and try to smile my way through it.
Thank you so much,
Candice Jacobs
Dear Richard
It must be at least 12 months since I received your book "Back For Life" and I have been doing the stretches and exercises. My back has been greatly strengthened. I don't have any more back pain and I can do several hours in the garden without suffering for the rest of the week. Your book has been a tremendous help. Some time ago, I learned of another of your books " My Necks Book" that you have published. I would like to purchase it from you, as I get headaches occasionally which I am almost certain are related to neck problems. My doctor only offers me anti inflammatory tablets which don't really 'fix' my neck. Could you please send me your "Neck" book with details of costs for postage etc. I am 57 years of age but no chance of retiring until I'm probably 65-70, also I'm back to study soon and into the
workforce, working in Aged Care. So I have to be fit and therefore I know I need your 'neck' book! I look forward to hearing from you.
Your very appreciative friend
Ann Buckmaster
Dear Richard ,
I purchased your book "Back for Life" last week.
It is certainly like a breath of fresh air. I have suffered from lower back pain for many years, with a bulging disc between T3 and T4, and your book makes so much sense to me.
However I realise that I may not be performing some stretches correctly and I am anxious not to aggravate my painful lower back.
Would it be possible to get your DVD?
Hoping to hear from you soon,
Yours sincerely,
Noela King
Dear Richard,
I bought your book ‘My Necks Book’ two weeks ago and have been doing the neck stretches and exercises since and now, no pain! I usually would have taken lots of Asprin soluble and visited the chiro to have my neck adjusted for the umpteenith time this year. I had a car accident 15 years ago and this has been the pattern ever since. I have always been into healing oneself but my neck has defeated me in this area and I have hated been at my chiro's mercy. Thank You. I will keep you informed of my progress.
Blessings to you.

Hi Richard,
Thanks for advising me of the availability of your Neck Book as an e-book.
I have wanted to give you some feedback on my experience with your Back For Life book. Super! Great! Stupendous! And a great read as well!
Twelve months ago I was visiting the chiropractor every 5 to 6 weeks to keep myself discomfort free. I started your stretches & exercises last October and was able to gradually increase the time between visits to the chiro. I have only had three visits since October last year and my last one was six months ago.
This weekend I mowed all the lawns, spent almost 5 hours on my hands and knees pulling out weeds and threw a birthday party for my youngest daughter (& twenty-three of her friends). I am so pleased at how I have "pulled up". If I had tried this twelve months ago I would have spent the evening lying out on the floor and had one or two trip to the chiro!
I have recommended your book to quite a number of friends.
Thanks again for your time putting Back For Life together. It certainly will always be part of my life which I hope to enjoy relatively pain free now until 100+. There are still times of discomfort but then I just ease back a little on the intensity of the exercises, check that I am doing them properly and pretty soon all is well again.
Any way, stay well and keep up the good work.
Regards,
Alan Millard
Richard
I have purchased your Back For Life book when I first saw you on TV a while ago. It has really helped me with my back pain. My physio even commented that my back is as good now as a person who never has had back pain.
Lily Zenere
Hi Richard
Your Back For Life book has benefited my Husband and daughter greatly,(you suggested she use the stretches for her arthritis). We never miss a chance to tell people with problems how good it is.
Can you let me know if or when your new book on the neck will be available? His neck is stuffed as well.
Regards
Maxine Waters
Hi, Richard,
Thank you very much for your information.
When I read your book I feel that you not only teach people technically to do the stretches and excises, but more importantly you encourage people bravely to face the reality, not to lose hope, but to solve the problem.
Even though we never meet before, but I feel you like a friend giving me good advice, made me feel warm.
Sure this is most valuable things.
I will definitely follow your instruction to improve my health.
Thank you so much.
Yours sincerely,
Deying
Hi Richard,
My wife and I purchased your book approximately one year ago & have been doing the stretches & exercises with great success since. However, late last week I snapped my Achilles tendon in my right leg while playing squash [which I hadn’t been able to do for some time]. I’m having surgery tomorrow & will be in plaster for 8 weeks, with further 4-6 weeks rehabilitation before I can even drive. In the last few days I’ve managed to do some of the stretches OK but no exercises because of my plaster cast.
I would appreciate any suggestions from you as to how I can maintain a programme of lower back health while being relatively immobile. My back has been a bit sore over the past few days but I’ve put that down to my recent lack of symmetry since my injury. (I am 43 years old)
Yours Faithfully,
Ian Weir
Hi Richard,
Keep the tips coming.
I have bought your book and it's early days yet but everything you say is just so much like common sense. I guess I just never thought about my back this way before.
Thankyou
Debra
Dear Richard,
May I say a very big "thank you" for your Necks Book which has given me more relief and allowed me to have better movement than I have had for years. While I have had a couple of weeks set back when I was in so much pain all over my body and was unable to do the stretches, and for a time I was worried that I had overdone them. But it seems that it was a virus and some of my friends have had the same thing. Now I am back to normal and able again to feel the benefits of the neck program which I do regularly, up to four times a day.
All the best in your efforts to stop the exploitation of sufferers.
Yours faithfully and so thankfully,
Bruce Johansen.
Hi Richard,
My name is Melissa and I have recently purchased your book called "My Necks Book", which was purchased after months and months of frustration with severe neck pain and headaches. The amount of money that I have spent on chiropractors, masseurs, acupuncture and so on has been disgusting with them all saying they can help me, but with their regular treatments and also their large fees. After reading your entire book it just makes perfect sense in what you say about symmetry. l only wish l had heard of your book earlier and not wasted so much money on other treatments. This book is my bible and after completing your program for a few weeks l have really noticed the difference in my flexibility. l would really like to see your DVD as this would make it easier to complete the stretches & exercises knowing that l'm doing them the correct way . When l first brought your book l found it a little hard to follow the pictures, so please, please, please, I need the DVD.
You have been the answers to my prayers.
Thankyou
Melissa B
I bought your book and have been doing the program for around three weeks and it has helped me amazingly. My back is feeling a million dollars.
Thanks

Dear Richard,
We would be VERY interested in purchasing a copy of your Necks book. We have already got a copy of your Back For Life book and it has worked wonders on Dave's back. I too have just started the exercises (pregnancy got in the way for a while!!!).
Please let us know when we are able to purchase this.
Thanks
Terry & David McCulloch
I recently purchased your book Back For Life.
I'd like to thank you for your advice on helping with back pain. My back and posture is better than ever now. All my life I had slouched shoulders and a dull pain between my shoulders. Two months ago I hurt my lower back and I couldn't walk for three days. After many visits to the doctor and chiropractor a friend told me about your book. After purchasing and reading it I did the stretches and exercises, about 4 weeks later my back was better and my posture was normal.
Thank you.
Harry Platts
Dear Richard,
Daryl & I have kept up with your stretches & exercises and feel great. We have lent our book to so many friends work colleagues & family so they can learn as we have, I think word of mouth is a wonderful thing. I hope they have purchased their own copy from you by now. Has your new book "My Necks Book" available yet? Thanks again Richard for all your help through emails for us back in May '03. Thank God for great people.
Yours Sincerely
Daryl & Shayne Harm
Richard,
I already have your back book which has turned out to be the best thing I have done for a long time, great book, so I was after the My Necks Book which I hope is as good as the back book.
Please send me the necks book and charge my credit card.
Thank you
Doug Fry
Hello Richard,
I am a current owner of your ebook "Back for Life". I have had good results using your recommendations in that ebook to alleviate my infrequent lower back pains.
My constantly stiff and painful neck is really my main and more pressing problem, so I was delighted to hear of your "My Necks Book". When/where can I buy your new "My Necks Book" in ebook format?
Thanks
Greg
Hi Richard
After 5 years my back is still in great shape with only the occasional ache but I am a devotee to your programs, both Back For Life and My Necks Book daily and I have told many.
It’s interesting how some people respond, and yet others whinge and moan about their back but won't buy the book. I now won't lend Back For Life to them as they don't want to help themselves. You must strike plenty like that?
I should get another book to give away.
God Bless you
Darryl Mills
Hi Richard,
First of all I would like to thank you for the material you have provided through your book "Back for Life".
I have not been required to see a physiotherapist or osteopath for any back-related issues since I started diligently performing the stretch and exercise routines as outlined in your book. I purchased this book over 2 years ago.
Your help is greatly appreciated.
Regards
Paul Moses
Hi Richard,
The good news is that I haven't had any sciatica symptoms now for over 2 years. Also my wife's neck has improved since we got your Necks Book and your DVD last year (and I learnt from the DVD that I had been doing one of the stretches wrong!).
Because your approach and suggestions have been so helpful with neck and back pain I'm taking a punt re another painful area. Hoping you may be able to suggest an approach for tennis elbow. While I play tennis but don't have it, my wife has it from her computer work which her job consists almost entirely of. She has been treated with cortisone injections twice for some relief but it has recurred and seems to be getting worse. She also had some physio last year which helped for a while. Last week she saw a specialist who confirmed the RSI as classic tennis elbow and advised complete rest for at least 2 months.
She finds this just about impossible, ie resting the arm completely and is anxious about her job. Although she is covered by workers comp the company has no relief lined up to do her work for another month and she has been going in and trying to do everything left-handed. I am concerned that she will now put stress on the good left arm (mindful of your thoughts on symmetry). She has been on anti-inflammatories for some time and also takes glucosamine.
I am wondering (and hoping) that you might have some suggestions to offer - even though it's not a back or neck problem tho it probably could end up affecting the neck.
Again thanks for your time and this service, Richard.
Cheers
John Mackay
Richard,
I wrote to you earlier this year. Below are the emails that we sent to one another. I started doing the last exercise about two weeks ago. It took me a lot longer to get there than I first thought but I'm not complaining. I haven't been to the chiropractor this year. (I haven't needed to). I do still hurt my back sometimes but it is from doing things that I couldn't have even imagined attempting six months ago. I know the boundaries and I push them a little bit at a time. (Steady plodding brings prosperity, but hasty speculation brings proverty). I can now lift my children and swing them around without fear.
Last year I put my back out severely from lifting and slowly swinging my three year old.
Today was a ground breaking event for me because it was the first time I went for a jog. It felt great. Give it time I know I will be at full flight again. Thanks again for your devotion to people's health.
Regards,
Roger Hockey
A friend loaned me "My Necks Book", so I need a copy for myself. Also “Back For Lfe". Do you sell them direct?
I have started the "My Necks Book" stretches & they have given me immediate relief.
Many thanks.

Hi Richard,
A few years ago I purchased your 'Back For Life' book after seeing it featured on TV. The book is fantastic and has helped me greatly which is why I am interested in your 'neck' book.
Is it possible that I can get the 'hard' copy version sent to me
Regards
Sandra Gigliotti
Hi Richard,
My name is Simon, Just wanted to say that I think that your book is excellent. I have had a protruding/bulging disc problem for about 8 months now, I have tried a lot of different treatments etc. And those people treating me all give contrasting and different advice / opinions. This doctor said that stretching will damage the ligaments in my back and hence my recovery will be slower!I have been doing your stretchers and the first exercise for about 2 weeks and have got much better and more flexible.
Thanks and warm regards,
Simon Cho
Richard thanks for your quick reply and we also really appreciate your books, they really have changed my boyfriend Dave's life. After reading your Back For Life book and doing the stretching exercises (which we both now do religiously every morning and night) he is able to lead a normal life again.
Thank you so much
Michelle
Hi Richard,
I have purchased your book before and have found it fantastic, I have recently moved and need another book for a friend with severe back pain
Please let me know.
Thank you
Christine Ramsdell.
Hi Richard,
I recently bought your book and the stretches seem to help a great deal with my back, sciatic and leg pain compared to all the visits at the Physical Therapist, Chiropractor and so on. The only problem I seem to have is when I go back to work the next day and sit all day it really acts up. I've recently gotten a new ergonomic chair at work, but the pressure of sitting all day and with my commuting it seems to put me back to square one. Any ideas?
I also have another question. I'm 31 and was told last year by my chiropractor (through x-rays) that I have one leg shorter than the other and he had me buy a shoe lift to put in my left shoe. He's a great Dr., but sometimes doesn't listen to me and rushes to put me in a category of "everyone else". This was strange to me because I've never fractured a bone (like you said in your book) and had been to a couple of chiropractors before and they didn't say anything about a bone being shorter than the other. They just said I had a pulled up left leg. I'm just hoping it's fixable with the stretching and was hoping you could shed some light on this.
I know you can't see my x-rays, but what do you think?
Should I keep wearing the shoe lift while doing the stretches because I don't want to make myself "uneven" if the stretches can work to rectify the problem?
Thank you very much!
Kristie Murray
Dear Richard,
A couple of months ago, I had acute back pain. Though I had many treatments which included acupuncture and massage, I was not cured.
My good friends, Judy and Gary Clements, gave me your book "Back For Life" and after following your program, my back pain was cured. However, I have recently experienced pain centred around my left knee/thigh though I have continued to do your exercises even after my back was cured. I have difficulty to walk for some distance without feeling pain.
Can you please advise me what other exercises I should do to get rid of my pain?
Looking forward to hear from you as soon as possible.
Thank you.
Robert Goh
Hello Richard,
What a pleasant surprise to get an answer to my email so promptly !!
I have done all you suggested. My friend has had remarkable results from reading the book “Back For Life’, and his recommendation was so high!!
Isn't it great to have friends like that.
Merry Christmas to you
Cheers

Dear Richard
I have recently been introduced to your book and am very impressed. Your stretches are helping me keep free from pain or injury, and more mobile. I showed it to my parents who would also like a copy. Do you have outlets in New Zealand, or do I purchase direct from you?
I look forward to hearing from you

Hi Richard,
I bought BACK FOR LIFE from you quite some time ago, it has been extremely helpful. Even tho my neck isn't TOO bad, maybe I should get the MY NECKS book, to keep it okay

Hi Richard,
I am completing the neck stretches every day and have been doing this for 2 months. I have had excellent results and am indebted to you for writing your book.
Thank you so much!

Nathan Hughes-Johnson.
Hi Richard
I came by your book via a client (I am a Massage Therapist)
Hands down you’re onto a winner here (as you probably know)
I read it myself, and do the stretches and exercises every day. I do not have a back problem but find the self care work of great benefit in keeping me in good shape.
Have recommended your book to many, and will continue to do so. Keep up the great work.

I bought your book and have been doing the program for around three weeks and it has helped me amazingly. My back is feeling a million dollars.
Thanks
Matt Purnell
For the first year I was prescribed a number of different medications that had minimal and at best short term effects. By year 2, I had had enough and thought it was time I tried some alternative therapy and visited a physiotherapist once a week for 8 weeks. The initial visit relieved the pain somewhat but I stopped the treatment after 7 weeks when I did not see any further improvement. Year 3, I visited a chiropractor once every two weeks for 3 months dropping back to once a month for the past 8 or so months. The chiro certainly provided more pain relief than any of the other treatments but the biggest improvement of all has been realised over the past 2 weeks with your technique.
My aim is to continue with your stretch routine and to stop my chiro visits.
Kind regards.....

Mr. Convery,
I bought the neck book for my father and he read it in one day. (My Mother was pleased to get him out of the way for the day!!!) He loved it so much that he instructed me to buy the back book for him.
He lives in the UK and he will be taking the books back with him to share with his friends. The information thus far has already helped him.
Thank you. Keep up the good work.
Thank you again.
Trina Vasic
Dear Mr Convery,
I recently purchased your book 'Back For Life' and have found it marvellous. I have only been doing the stretches for one week and already I can feel the difference.
I also suffer from Carpal Tunnel and arthritis in both wrists and I wonder if you knew of any exercises that could be done to correct this, otherwise the doctor says I will have to have an operation on both wrists to fix the Carpal Tunnel.
I would really appreciate your answer.

Hi Richard. I visited my back doctor the other day, he is a professor of muscle/skeletal problems. He’s very flexible, into stretching, and anything that helps. He’s very conservative re the medical aspect although he lectures in some of our main hospitals, anyway I had the appointment months ahead so decided to use it to ask about your stretches/exercises.
He said they were really good, and agreed that I had to try to do stretch number 1 He told me to take an anti-inflammatory every night for a week so I can do the stretch in the morning. I declined, as I can’t tolerate anti-inflammatories anyway. so I have been trying to do it slowly, slowly…I don’t mind if it takes a while.(long while)!!
When I left his office, I saw all the poor "back sufferers" teary, painful, and stiff, it made me really sad. I felt like yelling out " stretch stretch!!" but.. unfortunately they may well have to find their own way to help themselves once they realize that the medical doctors will not cure them.
Bye for now, and thanks.
Regards.
Christel.

Hi Richard
I was lent a copy of your book "Back for Life" by a friend. It has really helped me, and the stretch for my hamstrings has been amazing. It was one muscle I hated stretching as I didn't like the feeling it created (i.e. touching my toes).
I would like to get a copy of your book for myself. How do I obtain one?
Regards
Grant Mascini
Dear Richard,
I have your Back and Neck books... I want to complete the collection with your DVD.
I'm now living in Ukraine and return there on Wednesday this week (20th).
How can I pay and get the DVD sent to the Ukraine?
Ian Degarnham
Hi Richard,
Hope the neck book helps my wife like your back book has helped me. Also will be interested in the DVD to see if I'm doing all the stretches and exercises right. Not that they are too complicated or
difficult.
Thanks again
John Mackay
Hi Richard,
Your book is very impressive and has been helpful. I borrowed it from my brother, and now want my own copy. Could I buy one from you?....
Thanks Harry..
Hello,
I would like to purchase the book on spinal exercises called BACK FOR LIFE.
I have been given a copy on loan from a friend and find it invaluable.
Please email me cost etc.
Kind regards,
Jenny Chalwell
Hi Richard.
I have given my copy of Back For Life to a friend of mine who is suffering severely, and already he is experiencing relief.
Could you please send me another one, and details for payment?
Many thanks

Hi Richard,
My name is Mike and I'm a 26 year old Engineer who sits at a desk 70% of the time. I purchased your book "Back for Life" about a month ago and have been doing the stretches religiously morning and night for four weeks. My back has improved by 75% (which is fantastic) although I am still only at the first exercise.
I feel as though I have lost my symmetry, as you talk about in the book and I can not stand-up for long periods of time as my back will ache.
Remembering back now I first noticed the loss of symmetry when I was 15 years old, I got a knock in football and was out of action for about 1 month and I didn't see anyone (e.g. a doctor, a Chiro, physio etc), My body never felt completely right after that. I was quite an active person from the age of 15 to 20. In that time I did a lot of Rowing and Football and the back/side pain seemed to come and go through out that time. I started going to the Chiropractor when I was 20 years olds and like you say in your book I only got temporary pain relief.
My question is - Is there any more stretches or exercisers (eg. Walking, swimming, etc) that I can do to be pain free or is it too soon into the stretching/exercise routine for me to ask?
Regards
Michael Sweeny
Thanks Richard.
I've been well and playing tennis weekly (without any downtime through back pain).
Hope you're well also.

Thanks Richard,
I have been is such a positive state of mind today after all your emails (even though I have a cold, upset tummy and aching back !!!). thank you thank you thank you for giving me the much needed direction and support I have been looking for to improve my back !!!
Thanks so much Richard, I really appreciate all your advice and will take it all onboard straight away. Will let you know next week how things are progressing. Pain today was not too bad at all, only took 2 Panadols this morning and had slight aching in all lower back (but only about a 4/10 most of the day), so let’s keep hoping that this improves or at least doesn't get any worse each day.
Thanks & Regards,
Dasha McGee
Dear Richard,
Thanks for the FLECS email. I do find stretch No. 1 very effective and will rely on that as you suggest.
I do "tell my friends". At least two (one a GP) have bought "Back for Life" and the GP told me today he was taking it away on holiday with him. It seems, in the USA also, the message is getting through.
Best regards,
David Durrant

Hi Richard,
I have really enjoyed and benefited from reading and practising your book My Necks Book, which I borrowed from the library. Is it possible to purchase this book plus the Back For Life book from you? Please let me know and costs. I hope you are enjoying the summer and thank you for this wonderful mission you are sharing.
Janet
